After graduating XV Math high school in 2008 Valentina Šokec enrolled Faculty of Law University of Zagreb where she graduated in 2013. She worked in Workers’ Claims Insurance Agency for several months following which she joined KORPER I PARTNERI law firm. Since May 2018 she is attorney at law and since October 2018 partner.
From January 2016 until May 2017, she attended and successfully completed the Basic Training Course in European Patent Law organized by University of Strasbourg CEIPI.
In 2019 she successfully passed the exam on European Trademark and Design within ETMD EP Education Program intended for professional representatives before EUIPO, Alicante, Spain.
Since 2020 she is European Trademark Attorney before EUIPO, and since 2021 Patent Attorney before Croatian IP Office.
She is also a member of Croatian Bar Association and ALAI Croatia. She is fluent in English.
