Dina Korper Žemva was born in Zagreb. Upon finishing the V. Gimnazija in Zagreb, she began her studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb, graduating in 1975. From 1975 until 1978 she worked as an attorney trainee in the office of Attorney Dr. Zlatko Kuntarić, and in 1979 she founded a joint law office Korper & Haramija with Attorney Zdenko Haramija, which bears the name Korper & Partneri today, after decades of successful work.
Dina Korper Žemva specialized in intellectual property rights and is one of the attorneys in Croatia who have been recognized by the Croatian Bar Association as a specialist in the field of intellectual property law. She is a registered patent and trademark representative, as well as an European patent attorney. She is a member of international professional organizations: EPI (European Patent Institute) where she is a member of the Council and the judge with the Disciplinary Committee, INTA (International Trademark Association), AIPPI (Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property), as well as the Croatian Bar Association, Croatian Chamber of Patent and Trademark Representatives, and the Croatian Group of AIPPI, whose president she was for a number of years.
She is one of the founders of the Croatian Chamber of Patent and Trademark Representatives.
Since 2005 Dina Korper Žemva acts as a lecturer and head of the intellectual property courses with several academic institutions in the Republic of Croatia. She is fluent in French and English.
